First of all make sure you don't have a thyroid condition. Then, remember beauty comes in all sizes! Finally, I don't know what kinds of foods you eat, but pasta, fried food, potatoes, and bread should be eaten only in moderation. These foods cause us to gain weight. Eat fruits and vegetables, you can eat alot of these and not gain! Of course, avoid deserts when you can. Try to exercise a little bit every day. It becomes a habit and speeds your metabolism so you burn more calories. It doesn't have to be alot, a 15 minute walk would be great. Good luck. Forget the diet fads. Just eat healthy, well balanced meals and excercise regularly. So many people try out new diets or temporary lifestyle changes and just stop when they think they're not getting any results. Instead of stopping and trying out every fad why not try sticking to a permanant lifestyle change and see how you go. Eat 6 small meals throughout the day instead of 3 big meals, make breakfast your biggest and don't munch out after dinner. Keep dinner fairly early and have lot's of fresh fruits, vegetables and nuts for snacks. Forget diet pills and magic potions, they're all money making scams that suck people in who want a quick fix and sadly it only works for the company's pocket. Good luck.

Drink plenty of water. (Water carries fat away)

Exercise everyday. 30 minutes or more.

Don't eat before you go to bed at night.

Even better if you don't eat after 6pm or 7pm.

Pay attention to your CARB intake.. too much turns to FAT.

Stay away from FRIED foods.

Eat breakfast.

Eat something healthy every couple of hours during the day, so your body will not be in "starvation mode".

Read Labels = 100 calories, 50 calories from FAT = 50% fat.

Get at least 8 hours of sleep a night.

Oh, and one more thing. stop THINKING you are fat. Cancel out those defeating thoughts with something positive.. like, "I am GETTING THINNER AND STRONGER EVERYDAY".

Use you MIND to convince your BODY that you are loosing weight.

You have my sympathy. Its awful to have people to point it out. They are rude and don't know or care about what you are going through. No one wants to be fat! I know someone who just lost well over a hundred pounds. She said the first three days are the hardest and after that it gets easier. This is how she lost all of that weight in 8 months. She took vitamins, read how many calories were in each item she ate, drank lots of herbal tea and ate only low fat, low salt, low sugar things. She lived on stuff like rice cakes, grated cabbage simmered in hot water(like a soup) ate lots of raw spinach leaves for snacks, ate a 1 inch cube of cheese a day, and ate lots of other veggies.raw and cooked..with no butter. She has dropped down about 10 clothing sizes. You have to set your mind to do it and be stubborn and don't let other people talk you into having "a little bit" of this or that. Follow these steps:

1) Exercise. Be careful to do it in moderation, or you'll get discouraged and lethargic and at risk of giving up the program.
2) Eat less, but eat enough. Do not snack. My neighbor had some luck with the Atkins diet, although I must say he was a lot worse off than you are. Learn to like vegetables, especially fresh ones.
3) Drink only water, fruit juice, or low fat milk. Drink only water between meals.
4) Stick with it! Contryary to popular belief, you can lose no more than about 2 pounds per week. Chances are you will have some weeks when you won't lose anything. If you don't slim down at all in the month following the beginning of this routine, then you're doing something wrong.

I hope this helps! Okay, first of all think positive, who are these people who say you are fat ? don't let them do it !
Don't do silly faddy diets, cut down on sugar and down on fat ! plenty of fibre, little or no alcohol, swap white for brown, wholemeal, wholegrain, cut all your portion sizes down. Eat fruit or veg only between meals as snacks. If you cut down ( not cut out) fat, you automatically reduce your calories substantially. Carbs contain 4 cals per gram, protein contains 4 cals per gram, fat contains 9 cals per gram. Exercise, even if you just walk. Good luck !
