Try a 1200 cal with less than 50 grams of fat (prefer 30-35) and approx 50 or less carbs.

Your body will reset its metabolism if you drop below 1200 cals you body thinks you are starving, so when you have fatty items it will actually store more and take longer to loose.

Try daily exercises don't over do it if you need to try just stretching for the first few days then work into other items. try to work up to 30 minutes a day.

Walking is good to.

Don't for get when you eat snacks limit the amount. best to eat several small meals per day than 2 or 3 big meals.

Fresh vegetables and fruits are low to no calories and fat. also when it comes to meals skinless chicken breast, turkey, shrimp all can be done in the oven with out added fat, top them on a salad for a nice treat if you must have dressing have small amounts.

Remember drink lots of water room temp is best. figure about half your weight in ounces to start. also if you have cravings when you know you should not eat something have water. if you must eat have celery with just a small amount of peanut butter.

Try a program you can get into and follow every day, refer to the sight below. I lost 25lbs in 4 weeks and 4 inches from my waist.

Good Luck and have a great day.

are you a man?... if you are, you'll lose it real fast (be sure to work out or you'll end up with loose skin!)
You need at least 1200 cal a day. You should really go with at least 1600 if you arent just sitting on the couch all day. Make sure you drink a gallon of water a day. That way as you loose weight your skin will keep its elasticity and you wont be all saggy when you loose the wght. It really isnt a good idea to eat so little even if you are a big girl. You should try the body for life diet. You can get the books in book stores anywhere, it works and you can eat like a normal person. Good luck to you.
Make sure you have a Will.
yeah, don't eat less than 1200 calories a day or your body goes into hibernation mode. Try to exercise to burn those other two hundred calories.
Exercise
Exercise
Exercise
ugh dont do that! your perfectly fit how you are now! just exercise!
Good luck. Drink lots and lots of water so you don't give yourself kidney failure. Stick with it. Expect minor set backs, but don't give up. I salute you.
Good
I like a guy with those characteristics (maybe older)....I wouldnt want him to change....
Lots of healthy food... protein, complex carbs, and some fat too.
don't eat in front of the t.v b/c then your not focused on food and it's like you start w/ a bag of chips..then at the end of the movie your like "where'd the chips go?"
1000 calories is on the verge of starvation - and if your body goes into starvation mode, you won't lose any weight.

Try cutting back to 1500 calories - or even 2000. You'll lose weight and keep it off, plus its a lot healthier.
I would probably go higher than 1000 calories for your weight. Maybe 1500.
1000 would probably put your body in starvation mode.
Exercise and drink lots of water.
Work out also. (Run, lift weights)
eat alot of greens eat alot of salads no junk!stay away from anything white like eggs, chips bread ect.and take a 30 minute daily walk every day.
Ask a Doctor first and note if you let yourself be to hungry you risk fallen off the wagon and then eating much more then you should.... A Doctor will tell you how many cal's you should be eating a day.. Good Luck
If you cut your calories to fast all at once your body will start going into starvation mode by holding on to every calorie that you have
You should just figure out what it takes to maintain your weight now and cut that by 500 or 1000

and losing weight to fast is not healthy
You will have extra hanging skin if you actually lose weight
2lbs a week is healthy and normal
You'd do better with more calories and get a regular exercise regimen established, such as weight lifting. Actually, you'd be even better off if you went to and stayed with a high-protein diet as espoused by Drs. Mary and Michael Eades as well as Dr. Atkins.
Don't go on a diet. Just eat less food but more meals. Usually about 5 times a day. And cut out all the snacking on junk food. Drink two quarts of water a day. Get some exercise. Maybe doing some walking. Let me know if you try this and how you are doing. I care.

I thin it's great that you want to loose weight. A word of advice. The FDA recommends that a healthy person should consume 2000 callories a day. I think your 1000 might be a bit extreme and you need to continue to give your body the nutrition it needs . I would focous on maybe a 1500-2000 calorie diet and eat only good foods fruits, veggies, whole weat breads, with small portion sizes. Eat more small meals instead of 3 BIG meals. Also stay away from sugar, dairy and red meat. They are all very fatty. Get your calcium from soymilk and protein from skinless chicken and turkey. Also cooking your food on a small George Forman grill will take alot of the fat out of your foods. Good luck and don't forget to exersize
i am now 190 was 280 6'0" 3 months of peanut butter jelly sw. or tuna fish plus a mile walk per day took it off fast . never never go to the kitchen
2 very important things:
1.) Assuming your maintenance Calorie level is relatively high (it's probably around 3k-4k range) then going down in Calories that much might actual trigger a certain survival mechanism in your body where your metablism quickly slows down. This might mean you'll be losing less weight than you think you will.

2.) Expect to have some loose skin by the time that you get down to ~180-160lbs. If I were you I'd take it down to ~200lbs then do a bit of a bulk to add muscle and then continue the cut.

BTW what percentage bodyfat do you think you're at right now?
160lbs on a 5'8" male frame will look rather scanty, IMO. Also, that is not enough calories. You could run into health risks. I suggest seeing a nutritionist, following a sensible diet (aprox. 2,500 calories) and exercising 3-5 days a week. Sustained weight loss takes a permanent change in eating and behavioral habits.
exercise. im 5'8'' 190 and in great shape it depends on your muscle mass remember muscle weighs more than fat so if u loose weight fast and exercise and start to gain weight but loosing inches don't worry it's muscle growing. good luck in getting in shape
Take flax oil 3 times a day. weight loss tool.
Get protein from fish and vegetables, not red meat or poultry.
don't have anything hydrogenated or fried for that matter.
Just exercise, and the weight should come off. If you eat lots of high calorie high fat foods in disproportionate amounts, cut back on those and eat more veggies.

Dropping to that few calories a day (esp for a guy) is bad for your body.
my mom owns a health food store and she always tells people that they do not need to go on a low calorie diet because u will end up starving yourself. She recomends that you do more of a low carb/fat diet and a good regular workout
i think you will gain weight you have to have a little more calories than that not enough fuel for body
I would suggest a cleansing diet. I did this and lost 11 pounds and 16 inches in 9 days. I like the program since it works by giving your body nutrition through protein shakes with digestive enzymes and vitamins and then cleansing out the toxins. We get toxins in our bodies from pesticides, preservatives, water, pollution, medications, food additives etc…. These toxins enter our bodies and get coated with fat. To remove the extra fat, we need to get rid of the toxins through cleansing. The program also has a natural diet pill to help your metabolism and curb cravings. It works and it works fast. I lost 30 pounds in 5 weeks and I feel great. My skin has improved as well from the cleansing. You can get more info at this toll free number 1-877-587-4647. I think cleansing is really important to health and weight loss. Give it a try and good luck!

My friend (a dude) lost 18.5 pounds on this plan in 9 days and his friend lost 25. Men lose fast because of the muscle!
