Has anyone tried the special k cereal diet?? Does it work?

Question:
Need to loose a couple pounds, just wondering if it would work

Answers:
I did it to kick start my diet. It worked for me. I lost the first five or six pounds, and eventually lost 27 with another type of diet. That was over a year ago. I weigh 122, and if I start to gain a couple, I do the special k diet for a few days.

Other Answers:
it doesn't work like they say but it helps. i'm still on it.
Of course it doesnt. Cereal and milk. Carbs and fat. But they sell more cereal that way dont they.
No fat no sugar no salt no bread plus drink 100 oz water a day. You will drop 7-10 pounds in one week
I always eat Special K, so I guess I am on it all of the time. It's better for you than all of those other sugary cereals.
i dont know but it is good....u have to exercise as well, but it seems healthy
No, I haven't tried it. But what works is reducing your portion sizes. If you don't want to give up the foods you like, eat less of it. If you eat out, eat only half of what they serve you. If you eat at home, eat about 3/4 of what you would normally eat. That will take it off quicker and you get in a better eating habit -- which will stay with you long after the fad diets are gone.
It is just an weight loss aid only. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.
