I want to loose about 10 lbs. What's the best way to do that?

Question:
I have a membership to a gym. So should I run the treadmill? How far, how long? Should I be using the machines?
I drink very little soda, and a lot of water. I also eat very little junk food, some ice cream once a week, or a mini candy bar every now and then. I do eat out a good bit though. Usually about 5 or 6 times a week. What do I need to change about my lifestyle? Again, all I'm looking to lose is about 10 lbs or so.

Answers:
Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

Eat right. Exercise right. Sleep right. Think right. Do right. Be right.

Eat right, exercise. Simple formula. Add some self-control and it never fails Cut your foot OFF

try water sports like kayaking! it works wonders, and it's fun too. trust me =)

Cut off any unused body parts

Fasting works. watch your salt intake! Fast for a couple of days! but be careful not to dehydrate yourself. You don't have to eat every single day unless your older in age, then you would eat very small amounts like eat a carrot or other veggies only. Take flax oil - a tablespoon twice a day (morning and mid afternoon)

You will lose weight.

Also increase your healthy oils like olive. Eat less meat and more vegetables and fruit.

eat small frequent meals throught the day and stop eating when you get just satisfied, NOT overly full. If you do eat so called junk food eat it early in the day and cut back or even eliminate all breads, sugars, pastas, and potato. Eat more greens and increase your protein intake to at least 30-40 grams per day. Increasing your fiber intake will also help.

Exercise first thing in the mornings doing the following:

Warm up - 5 -10 minutes

Stretch

Resistance training using light weights and doing high repetitions doing a full body workout 3 days per week.

Do 20-30 minutes of aerobic exercise up to 5 days per week immediately after the resistance training on the days you do the resistance training. A stationary bike, treadmill, or efx will work best.

Cool down for about 5 minutes and then if you got time do some light stretching.

That's it.
