What's the best way to tan evenly?

I have never, in my life tanned evenly. The top part of my body always tans more and faster than my botton half...even if I lay out and apply sunscreen evenly, why?

you can never really apply the sunscreen evenly even though it may seem like you are. depending on how much you use and how much you rub will determine your tan.Also your body is different all over and it may just tan differently.

Nobody will tan evenly without rotating to expose the right areas at the right lengths of time. Since you know that your front tans faster just give it less exposure and your back more. Its really only a matter of trial and error.
