Hey, we are on the same page. I'm 5'3'' and I weigh 125. I used to weigh 107.so I need to lose 18 pounds. I know this sounds crazy.but I lose weight by eating one meal a day. I'll snack on fruits and veggies only. Limit your calorie intake. Your body burns about 10 times your weight. So right now, your burn about 1,140 calories in a day. There are 3000 calories in a pound. Slowly cut back your intake. I lost 20 pounds in 2 1/2 months doing this. Try eating about 500 calories a day. then youll burn about 600 calories a day + whatever excercise you do. But always snack on healthy foods throughout the day or else your metabolism with slow. NO SODAS.FRIES.CANDY! limit your bread and pasta/rice intake as well.

You don't sound overweight to me, but, you might try diet drinks instead of regular soft drinks and no sweet tea. I'm 5'2' and weigh 114 my doctor told me I was perfect weight for my height. You'll be surprised what knocking out the sugar in drinks can do for you.
Dieting . starve urself . if you feel like eating just eat salad without salad dressing and drink lots and lots of water .
It will work for sure.
5'0 and 114 is the perfect weight
lose any more and you will be unhealthy
but if you would like to keep your weight and get toned lifts weights and do resistance training. pilates is great for toning up the entire body.
i would not consider 114 to be overweight. everyone has a natural body weight, so this could be yours. Your height and weight now are healthy. At 5 feet tall you SHOULD NOT weigh 100 pounds, especially if you are not a child. Don't lose more weight, just keep in shape and stay healthy and you will look great for the wedding.
So allow yourself to be imperfect in front of your friends and family. they will love you more for your imperfections than your vanity
When you diet for a certain length of time without a break your body is fooled into thinking it's starving so it slows its metabolism. In order to kick start it again, either take a few days off the diet or amp up the exercise A LITTLE.
I don't know how old you are but please don't let your self image be too connected to your body style. That is dangerous to your mental well being and can ultimately lead to a life-threatening situation.
Having a good time celebrating the joy of this marriage is far more important than whether you lose 14 lbs.
honey i have that same problem! i'm 5'0 and weigh 117 lbs, and that's a lot for our height! don't listen to those other people, i don't think they realize how short 5' actually is! but you don't have to lose 14 lbs though, even 5 lbs will make a BIG difference! i go to the gym regularly and i try to eat right but it wasn't working. so i'm on drinking this herbalife shake in the morning and the evening and eat fruits and vegetables throughout the day, i haven't been drinking it that long (2 weeks) but i definitely see a difference! How did you gain the weight? There is really no other way than to move around more and eat less.
Every 3,500 calories you burn up more than you eat will equal 1 lb of weight loss. Also eating 3,500 more than you burn off will equal 1 lb gain.
Just make small changes to healthier foods. Watch portion sizes.
Take up a Hobbie or sport that is active. I wish I had only 14 lbs to loose. Don't diet though it will make you gain weight in the long run. The heaviest people are the ones who went on the most diets.
Try to remember how and what you ate when you were at the weight you want to return to. Eat like that.
Try to remember how active you were when you were at you ideal weight. Be that active.
Watch for the hidden stuff. Like if you switched from tea with lemon to coffee creamer.
An interesting fact. Eating just 100. Cal per day extra will make you gain 10 lbs in 1 year. The good news is eating just 100 cal less than you need or exercising to burn off 100 cal more a day will make you loose 10 lbs in 1 year.
If you have recently changed jobs and now sit more. That could be it right there. If you are cooking and did not before are you tasting your meals while you cook. Are you finishing up juniors lunch or happy meal. It takes so little to make up the 100 cal.
Have you added a glass of wine with dinner. That could be the problem.
Just changing the brand of Ice cream can do it.
Sometimes just drinking enough water will do it. 8 X 10oz of water per day. You can add a twist of lemon. Sometimes thirst can signal hunger when what you really need is water.
If you aim for slow weight loss you will develop the lifestyle to go with it and be able to maintain it for the long run. If you want to drop the weight in a hurry, then you will gain it back and a few extra to boot.
God Bless You and have a great summer, Diane ;-)
