How much artificial protein can the body process in one day?

Question:

Answers:
By artificial I'm assuming you mean protein powders, bars, etc. These proteins are not necessarily artificial, they are usually whey, soy, or casein. The same type of proteins found in say, milk. Your body doesn't have a set limit to how much it can process in one day, however, it can only process so much at one time. About 35-40 grams of protein can be processed by the body at one time, the rest(unused) will be converted to fat. This can be repeated about every couple hours.

Other Answers:
200gr
It's different for everybody. The optimum is one gram of protein for each pound of body weight. EG: a 165 lb man can eat 165 g of protein safely and effectively each day.
"Artificial" protein??
WTF is that?
