weightlifting?...cardio? help!!?
Question:
im going 4 the ripped chizzled look..not bodybuilder wit veins everywhere
im 5'6 145...
Answers:
actually it is NOT a good idea to work on everything all the time, for muscle growth and structure you must pace yourself and work on different areas while your other areas have time to heal, otherwise your amino acids will build up and actually eat away at your muscle fibers (NOT A GOOD THING!)
im a bodybuilding trainer and from my experience it is better to do cardio exercises AFTER you train, because it acts as a conditioning exercise and it gives time for valuable protien to enter your muscles.
If you want to get bigger and more chizzled i recomment buying supplements like CytoGainer which you can find at your local GNC
Other Answers:
Yes all in one day is fine and cardio after your weight lifting will maximize fat burn.
If lifting is your main goal, do it first. MWF is o.k. for total body. You have 1rest between each workout, and 2 days off in a row. You should do at least 30 mins cardio on lift days. On your off days you can do more cardio. You should have at least 1 rest (no work at all) every 2 weeks. If you are doing seperate workouts do 3 on and 1 off.
