Does exercising with a lot of clothes on make you loose more weight?

It makes you lose a lot of water, so in this sense, yes. But you need water to live. What you want to burn is fat, and sadly it takes a while to put it on, and to take it off.
However, if you do what you were talking about, you may not only lose the body water (which by the way you will regain within a day or two), but you could also die, which I'm sure is not your goal.
If you want to become leaner, while also becoming healthier, I would suggest two hours a day of aerobic exercise three days a week, and one hour of weightlifting two days a week.
Yes, weightlifting! I know a lot of girls are scared that they may actually bulk up into a Schwarzenegger, but you'd have to do extensive amounts of this, as well as consume around 5000 to 6000 calories a day. Needless to say that won't be happening.
According to Health and Fitness Magazine this is the healthiest and fastest way to lose weight. But I will warn you, that while you will become leaner and thinner, you may find that your weight does not change, or may even increase. This is only because muscle weighs more than fat, despite taking up less space.
I have no idea what your weight and size is, so don't be offended, this is just purely an example. So you may go down from a size 16 and 140 Lbs. to a size 8 and 145 Lbs.
But I am not your doctor. I don't know if you are anemic, have a heart disorder, are a diabetic, pregnant, etc. So please before you do any rigorous exercise program consult with a physician.
Good Luck.

I don't think it makes a diffrence.
That is probably a myth.
NO
r u trying to pass out??
You lose more fluids.
Drink a lot after. Your body gets hotter and burns more because of that. Some more. Not worth the agony trust me.
you sweat more, and lose more water weight becuase of that, but your body gets conditioned to work in certain enviroments, and that allows you to trian harder when you wear less clothing. you are preparing your self with endurance
You'd just get heat exhaustion and pass out. It's just water weight that you'd be losing and you'll gain it back as soon as you drink water.
That only makes you sweat which will show as weight loss (water loss only, not fat loss) but it's not good for you.Try to double your exercise instead!
All you would be doing would be losing more water weight. You would gain it all back after drinking liquids.
increase body heat and lose more water weight is what you accomplish. just becareful you dont dehydrate and over heat.
its a matter of sweating, so yeah, sweating helps you lose the wieght
You would loose more water weight, but you most likely would gain it once you drank and ate alot again. But overall, if did it every day, you might loose more, but like i said, water weight isnt what you want to loose, caus that will come back when u drink and eat.
probably, but I would only be a slight gain and depending on how hot is is you could very easily become dehydrated..I believe that you are supposed to wear lose breathable clothing to run/walk and tight clothes to lift weights.but I'm not certified or anything
hope that helps

i think it would make you stronger but only a little bit because you have to carry that extra weight
Wearing more clothing will make you sweat more, but thats just water weight you are losing. You are better off wearing less tho depending on the weather. You will be more comfortable, and that will make the run more enjoyable.
It makes you lose water weight, if you have ever gone to a wrestling practice before weigh in and you see a guy with sweaters and sweats on curled up in a corner it is because he is trying to sweat out to make weight!! This is only a good idea if you are retaining a lot of water.if you are actually trying to lose weight healthy and you are running in the sun, wear shorts and a tank top because your going to end up dehydrating yourself!! Plus water weight loss is only temporary you want to actually loose inches and fat not water!! Good luck!!
You would lose just a tiny bit more but it would only be water weight that you would lose.
The added weight of the clothing would not be enough to make much of a difference.
However, the added HEAT of the extra clothing would cause you to perspire more, thus just losing a little more water in your body.
The first time you drank a glass of water, the water weight would just be put right back into your body.
I've tried that and it doesn't really work. It just makes you want more water. And you get over heated, too.
You will only be losing water weight, which you will have to replace before, during and after your workout.
You will not burn any extra fat that way.
By the way don't run in the heat, especially with a sweatshirt on, you can have a heat stroke and pass out or worse.
