Definitely you'll see results. Just make sure your diet is in order. You can run 10 miles a day, but if you eat pizza, chips and candy bars you'll still have a layer of flab covering you.
Also be sure that you fitness plan is solid. This means if you are sandbagging it during your fitness efforts and thinking you are doing a workout, your efforts will be wasted. My rule of thumb is: if you don't need a shower when you are done, the workout was probably too lightweight to make serious changes to your physique.
