Question:

Answers:
When I'm eating I stop as soon as I feel full. I don't keep eating just because there is food still on my plate. When you over eat you stretch your stomach. Then it starts to take more food to fill it up. I mostly eat fresh fruits and vegetables. I'm 5'6" 115 lb.s and have been the same size from age 17 to 23(currently). I've even had a child, and got back to my normal size within 3 months after birth. It may be my gens, but I think eating right, and staying active is the key.

You have to change your lifestyle, to reach your goals. This doesn't mean a diet you stick to for a month, or working out occassionally. It means changing your eating habits, the types and amount of foods you eat AND committing yourself to a consistent routine. Only then will you see the results you're looking for and your quality of life will improve because of it.

First of all you should see a nutritionist/dietitian to establish your caloric intake as well as your physical health.
Some people have a fast metabolism and that makes it easy. However, if you are not one of them, then you need to eat small meals (1/2 cup of starch 3x daily, 4 small portions of protein(eg. 1 slice of american cheese), 3 cups of dairy daily, 3 small fruits and 4 portions of vegies. Eat your meals 6 times a day. Breakfast: 1/2 cup of starch or 1 proteinl w/skim milk
AM snack: fruit
Lunch: 1/2 sandwich w/2oz meat, lettuce, no fat.
PM snack: fruit
Dinner: 1/2 cup starch (rice or.), protein (meat or..), 1/2 cup cooked veggies, tossed salad with lemon juice.
Evening snack: fruit

6 meals a day sounds like a lot of food, however, for the body to burn it must receive fuel regularly in small amounts. Don't forget to excercise. Very important.
