What is the best way to lose 30 pounds/10 inches in 3 months?

I am getting married at the end of october. I just tried on my wedding dress and it is shy of zipping up by like 2 inches. What are the best ways to go about losing it? I know drinking water exercise, lower calorie intake etc... Is there anything else?

I have a friend who got the weight watchers books....but didnt buy their food and all that crap---and she went by the points system they give you....eating food you can buy in any grocery store....ans she lost tons of weight...if i had to guess i'd say 40 pounds in a matter of 3 months....and she exercised, but not that regularly.

actually NOT eating is NOT a good idea, eating in moderation is key to weight loss, if u stop eating completely then ur body will start feeding off of your stomach acid which will cause u to actually gain inches on your waist, I cannot stress this enough

Get involved with a cardio program, look around at your local colleges and gyms EVERY place has a cardio program, this not only will make u lose pounds but it is also good for your heart, trust me if you do 3 months of cardio it will make a BIG difference as far as weight loss is concerned

As far as the inches around your waist that can be done by doing high-rep crunches, that means you must do VERY fast crunches, fast crunches burn fat, slow crunches build muscle mass

I know if you don't drink soda or fruit juices you lose the least of 8lbs., other than that cut out the junk food, soda, drink lot's of water and exercise!!
if you want to lose pounds really fast,
cut 250 calories from your regular calorie intake,
and burn 250 calories each day for one week.
you'll end up losing one pound...also, if you want to lose more pounds in one week, burn more than 250 calories....

yeh you should be able to do this. this is a fast weight loss program that i did myself and worked a treat. i also included swimming and walking nearly everyday.
well when i went into the marines i weighed 190 the first month and after the first month i weighed 160 and after boot camp was over i weighed in at 125 how they do it is run 1mile the first 3days and gradually go to .5miles every week by the third week we were running 3miles then for breakfast eat white rice and egg whites for lunch white rice and skinless chicken and the same for dinner do site-ups and hello Dolly's and through out the day and jumping jacks make sure you drink a lot of water it helps you keep hydrated and keeps you from being hungry you should see results if you stick with it and don't miss a run just run every day Mon through sat and keep up with site ups and jumping jacks and hello dolly's
Try to eat foods that are high in fiber. Fiber is beneficial in that it A) makes you feel full quicker , which will help you eat less at meals, and;
B) fiber will help the foods you do eat pass through your digestive track faster so your body will actually absorb fewer of the calories you take in.

As far as exercise goes, you need to find out what your target heart rate is and push yourself to reach and maintain that heart rate. After about 20 min your body will start to burn fat as fuel.

You will have to be dedicated since 30 pounds in 3 mos. is about the limit you can safely lose. Good Luck!
1000 calories a day and at least six miles of walking per day .....i tryed it, it was hard but it worked...... also a good idea to do 3 times a week in the gym to tone up.....this will take off the inches as well......its tough but if you look into it celebs who have put on weight for whatever reason have to work very hard to regain their physic's.
