Running AM or PM?

Question:
Do you think it would be better to get up early (and miss out on an extra 45 minutes of sleep) and run/cardio workout, then go to work (12 hour shifts) or get up and get ready for work, then run/cardio workout right before going to bed?

Answers:
Run when you are most likely to keep up your routine.

Other Answers:
I prefer to run before bed. I'm too tired to read/understand your whole question. Hope this helps.
Run in the AM, but be sure to keep it at the low side of your cardio abilities, say 55-65%.if you run anaerobically at a hard pace, it isn't good for you on many levels, and you'll probably get over sore later in the day. This way, after a long shift, you'll be able to sleep better and also put more energy into work.
Never exercise before going to bed, unless you are looking for trouble. Early morning workouts are much better.
i tell you it's better runnin in mornin than afternoon because it will streghten you're immune system,,,,and a less risk of damaging you're appendix,,,
It is better to try and do it in the AM before you do your 12 hr. shift. I guarantee that you will feel excellent after your run and ready for the day ahead. I find it hard to get motivated to get in a good run after a 12 hour shift and i also work 12 hour shifts like you. Also it is not a very good idea to run too close to bedtime.
