Philosophically, I'd put it this way. When you exercise you take control of your body. And in so doing you learn what I consider one of the most important lessons for a successful life.
You are happening to the world.you are NOT just a passive, temporary resident of "spaceship earth". The more you become proactive, the more you observe your ability to have an impact (good and bad) the more you can accomplish.
And certainly, seizing control of your body is a great place to start. Darned right you'll feel better, physically, mentally and emotionally.
