What is called (Ultra Whey protein) manufactured by Universal Nutrition?

Question:
is causing me to gain lots of fat especially in the abdominal area and the obliques although the company claims that it's pure protein. I have been taking it 3 times a day and I have been lifting weights since around 6 months. Any suggestions regarding why I am gaining undesired fats?

Answers:
Hi there!

Protein powder isn't want gets you big and ripped. It is a supplement that has calories. The reason you are collecting fat is that with the new supplement you are creating a surplus of calories for yourself, you are not burning them all off. It may be pure protein, but all your body knows is that your calorie intake is too high.

Your solution is to keep your total calories below 2000/day including the protein powder and keep lifting. You will start to see yourself harden the way you want it.

Good luck!
