I have only found one diet that really works like that. Once upon a time, I was married to a woman who was overweight – I was not. To support her in her effort to lose weight, I went on a diet with her, and I lost 5 pounds in 4 days. This diet will definitely take weight off fast, but it is not healthy for the long haul.
Eat only protein – meats and cottage cheese, and drink a lot of water. You can also drink coffee or tea without cream or sugar if the caffeine doesn’t cause a problem for you. I guarantee that you will lose weight quickly. The more overweight you are – the more you will lose, but I lost 5 pounds in less than a week, and I wasn’t overweight at all. I do lose weight very easily, but this diet is the best for rapid weight loss.
Also, I can offer you what I’ve learned about a healthy diet, but it is very long, and I hesitate to print it here. If you are interested, I answered a question for "hippiedippie48" about 2 months ago with a test to determine which diet is best for you and the diet that I am referring to as well.
There is also a product that I began to use about 6 months ago that has many “fountain of youth” benefits and one of them is weight loss. The product is fairly expensive – $3 per day. My hair was turning white, but now it is returning to its natural color. I am thinner; I am more energetic; I benefit more from exercise, etc. It also helps men with their sexual performance – similar to Viagra except that it works 24/7. (I don’t know if it helps women similarly.) It does require some minor lifestyle changes, but if money is not an issue for you, it is a great long term solution.

Eat healthy and jog for 30 minutes everyday. Actually, there was a weight loss company called Formu-3 back in the late 80's/early 90's. With their program, it was simple to drop 8-12 pounds the first week. Ths secret is watching how much you eat of normal foods. For example, go for boneless, skinless checken breast, grilled or broiled; no breading. Same with fish. Negative calorie foods, such as celery, are also great. The two BIGGEST things to cut out are SODIUM and CAFFEINE!! Now, I don't drink coffee or tea, but I drink a ton of pop. You're going to have a hell of a headache on Day 2 from caffeine withdrawl, but hang in there. Diet Rite was excellent to at least satisfy my carbonated beverage fetish! (lol) (They also have several flavors such as tangerine, grapefruit, as well as "cola".) Again, watch out for those, and stay away from foods with high sodium/fat. Good Luck!
