does drinking a lot of diet soda keep weight on you even if youre on a strict diet?
Question:
Answers:
I drink a ton of diet soda and have no problem. I always hear people saying that it's loaded with sodium, but if you look at the label they all have between 0-3% of your Daily value of sodium per can, which isn't bad (a tbs of barbeque sauce has three times that amount). If you are eating TV dinners they have a ton of sodium (even the so called healthy ones), and canned soup has an unbelievable amount.
Other Answers:
yes..becuase soda is carbonated so the chemicals are probably making you really bloated & there is tons of splenda in diet drinks. You should cut back to 1 or 2 a day, and drink water.
be careful of diet soda it has a lot of sodium in it, I used to drink it and I still couldn't lose the weight. Plus it can cause kidney stones. You're best bet is water, if you cant stand water try flavored..worked for me If you are going on a diet, you should absolutely stop drinking any form of soda. It is nothing but empty calories and it contains tons of sugar, which eventually turn into fat. Drink water, flavored water if you're craving soda, and gulp the Gatorade! Exercise is a definite must as well!
It has sodium in it which makes you retain water
If you're on a strict diet, what the heck are you doing drinking sodas;diet or otherwise. Drink water. Sodas are good for once in a while, but the majority of the time it should be water. The sodas epecially diet, have high levels of sodium and the carbonated water makes your bones soft over time.
Yes, I've found that it can, but if you're going to be drinking soda at all, diet is the best way to go. You could always try seltzer water (there are some really good flavors out there, like lime and tangerine) -- you get equally as full and it's a bit healthier. Your best bet is obviously regular water. No that wouldn't be the cause of it, it's not good to consume that much soda. Try to only have one to 2 sodas per day but drinking diet soda wouldn't be the cause to having a stomach on you. Consuming the wrong carbs, excessive sugar and calories with a lack of exercise can cause it. Excessive salt can cause you to retain water.
soda has sodium in it and that causes you to retain water diet soda included! hope that this helps good luck on your diet!!
yes because of the caffeine and there is still sugar in some diet sodas
