10X is an exaggeration, as is "all"...not ALL Americans are fat...but yes we do tend to overeat...portions in packaging and restaurants are larger than they need to be, or in multiples, and we tend to eat it all (don't waste food! we're taught as children)

Where do you exist? Not all Americans are fat. But we are a natino with an abundance of food, especially compared to other countries. With so much available, yes, we do overeat, but not 10 times more than we need, at least, not most of us.
