Yes, as the other person said it's 1200--for women, not men. I agree with "killer kid" -- you shouldn't starve off your weight. You should exercise it off and not be paranoid about calorie counting. You should also watch your fat intake but some foods like nuts and fish actually contain what is known as "good fat."

I'm doing the exact same thing "killer kid" is recommending and it does work. Granted it's a slower process, but you're much healthier for it and it's wealth worth it. It's a true lifestyle and not a diet.

well depends what is your ideal wieght? Say you want to weigh 120 pounds therefore you eat 1200 calories a day. If you want to weigh 110 eat 1110. See the calculation. I'll give you a diet that will make you energized however you need to stay true to it. Best way to do it is prepare your meals in tuperware for the week..eat every 3 hours. Check with your doctor of coarse first because I don't know your background at all. After you see the diet below..do cardio 3 times a week for 1 hour. the other 3 days do curcuit training. If you do this program you will feel like a million bucks. This is just a sample diet below but you must eat every three hours.

Meal one: 2 eggs / 3 oz green peppers / 1 piece whole grain toast / cup of orange juice / cup of skim milk

Meal two: whey protien shake / tablespoon flaxseed oil / 8 oz of blueberries

Meal three: 12 oz Salad with 4 oz chicken. 1 pear

Meal four: whey protien shake / tablespoon flaxseed oil / 8 oz of strawberries

Meal five: 4 oz of Salmon / 3 oz sweet potato / 4 oz broccoli

Meal 6 six: half cup of yogurt / 6 oz of almonds / 3 oz raisins,
