What is the best most effective way to stay motivated to lose weight and stick with a diet??

Really once you start exercising, you will feel great and want to continue this feel good feeling. Don't allow others to distract you, and change your mind. You are the one that can and will get this diet started and work your way up to the point you are seeing a change in yourself and won't want to turn back.

Weight train, jog, walk, bike, jump rope, use a stepper, play a sport, even invent a few exercises, always try to keep it fun and interesting. I think the best way is to know that this isn't a temporary thing. If you want to get to and maintain the weight you desire you will need to accept some long term, permanent change in your lifestyles. Ultimately it is a decision about what your priorities are.the health and weight you desire or the excess food you desire. Your choice will make the motivation simple or complicated.
