The hospital is a big place. I'm sure your son would not mind if you went for a 30 minute walk while you are there. What kind of medication do you think you could get? Pills aren't the solution to everything and certainly aren't the solution to weight loss. Try to eat a little less, walk around a little more. I'm sure it's just the stress that's getting to you and also being less active. But in the end, your son's more important, I hope that he gets better!
