this website will also calculate how many calories your body size needs per day.

Other Answers:
it dependd on your body size and frame, you should be looking at BMI=Body mass index. Go to web md.com and look at the chart there, it will let you enter your age height and weight and then tell you where you fall in a doctors chart for obesity or underweight.

weight should not matter if u love the person. but if it is health reasons then carry on. DR. office has a chart that tells u your weight / your height. i think it depends on your build type i am a professional athleete and i get comments on how skinny i am all the time most peeps think i am 95lbs im 130 ( my hieght is 5'5) but since it is mucel it looks leaner and whieghs more

Men are quite different when it comes to overweight/not. Because of muscle mass differences, you should use a BMI calculator.

Here is a real easy and realistic evaluation for men.if your waist measurement (at umbilicus) is greater than your chest measurement (at nipple line), then you are either overweight, flabby (lacking good muscle tone) or maybe both. You need not worry about particulars, just that an optimal ratio is for the chest measurement to be bigger than the waist measurement.
Here's a standard height/weight breakdown for men ages 25-59 (flat foot/no clothing).
5'10".144-180 lbs
5'11".146-184 lbs
6'0".149-188 lbs
This large range is due to differences in frame size. The "waist-chest measurement test" will give you a good idea of how the weight is being dispursed on your frame. Males have the potential for a lot of muscle mass and being that muscle weighs more than fat, a fit, healthy muscular male could still be "overweight" by conventional chart standards. Also a man could be well within the normal weight range for his height yet have little muscle mass,a sunken chest and a flabby belly. In these two cases the waist-chest measurement would be very useful in indicating who really has the healthy male physique.
