What is a good meal to have after a workout?

I recenlty started working out and I find myself very hungry after. What is a good healthy meal to have after a workout? or can anyone direct me to a health & fitness website. Thanks

I make a great fruit smoothie!
Put frozen fruit, yogurt (or a banana) and juice in a blender, mix it up and Voila! Filling and tastes great. My favorite kind is wiht pinapples and honeydew mlon, vanilla yogurt and pinapple juice. it tastes like a pina colda, but the flavor possibilities are endless. It's a great on-the-go breakfast too. In fact I lost 60 pound eating these for breakfast and replacing high cal high fat snacks with my smoothies.

I also work out first thing in the morning before i have my shake

before woking out you should eat carbs to give you energy!..

After workout you should eat protein and veggies, so your worked out muscle could grow up!.


After I workout I drink a Roex whey shake. It is sooooo good! -AND your supposed to stick to liquids right after a workout because your body is absorbing it better. A good shake, fruit or milk shakes should work

steamed white rice Myself I eat a large meal with alot of protien. Every morning I
eat a large spoonful of peanut since it's high in protien. And
protien builds muscle. Have one of those yellow telephone shaped fruits and then some pasta. Also, suplement it with some form of protein.
