You need to include lots of cardio to burn the fat. Try running 30-45 minutes a day or swimming.
OK...., when you do exercices and you feel pain your burning fat. lifting weight helps. now... if you eat more you will gain weight but if you starve yourself it will make it worst. eat normal portians of food and you will be fine. belive me on this. It works. ask your doctor!
You can't burn fat in one area -- it burns all over the body at a rate determined by your brain.
Most lifters who get into competitive body building won't worry too much about fat until they get close to a competition. Then they go into a "cut" routine that seeks to kill off fat deposits and limit water. They lose some muscle in the process, but what remains is on display. In other words, lifting alone won't burn off those fat deposits -- you have to watch your diet.
You might consider going to the other side of the gym where the cardio workouts are taking place. Cardio workouts will do lots of good things for you, starting with burning off those fat deposits (ever see a fat runner?) In addition, better cardio will enable you to do more reps, as your heart rate really does go up to running rates while you lift (some lifters claim that lifting can be better cardio than spinning if you work at it). And, you don't have to watch your diet near as much.
I'm a cardio guy who goes to the weight room to prevent injuries. I know that if I've got good muscle tone in my torso and legs then I can run and bike without as many injuries. In addition, after a season of bicycling I look like T-Rex, with massive quads and gluts and little itty bitty arms.
Take it slow. Don't starve yourself. Don't go for high protein either. Unless you push yourself to extremes, your nutrition requirements won't greatly change. The athletes who do push will have very different needs than you will. Eat balanced meals. Eat enough to balance your energy needs. Use more energy, then eat more and keep it balanced. Exercise intelligently. You can hurt yourself permanently by not doing it right. Get help. Talk with your doctor or a nutritionist. But get help. A trainer will cost less than medical costs if you goof.
It's called bulking and cutting. Up the calories, protein and carbs intake to increase muscle and body mass with an intense and heavy lifting. Then cut the calories and carbs with increased cardio to lower the body fat and get ripped. You still have to stick to clean and healthy food while bulking though, to keep the fat gain to a minimum.
Just make sure your busting your butt and constantly challenging your body during the bulking phase or you won't gain muscle only fat.
eat less, drink protine shakes with low fat, and alot of them one gram for each pound of body weight and EAT LESS even tho your trying to gain mass, unless you go to the gym every day of the week you shouldnt eat more food, and if you do go to the gym every day of the week your should eat creatine and ****, but on the days your not in the gym just add arobics, and alot. rember a normal person in this day and age will just get fat from doing what normal people do, so if a normal person lifts weights then they wont get fat and will build mass with out adding any weird tricks and funny dance moves and seiously, if your planing on changing your diet just add protine shakes and arobic exercise DONT eat more you will jsut get fat
