I've been doing more resistance training than cardio,and I can see my abs thru all the jiggly fat(it's gross).

Is the fat ever going to start coming off this way or do I HAVE to do the cardio?

Answers:
no you don't have to do cardio but it is healthy to do so and it helps. You could walk to, that is less than cardio but it is healthy, easier and more enjoyable. Try a small calorie reduction and be patient.

Adding muscle burns a lot of calories so that helps you to get thin with or without cardio.

To get jiggly stuff off it's cardio, do the crunches any way you want, but do them too. Cardio is important for losing any weight or jigglies. you have to do the cardio to burn off the fat (calories) you can try one of those fat burners to give you an extra boost

Do both, the cardio will burn calories and help your heart and you will have more energy.

Resistance training will build muscle which will burn more calories while at rest. You really have to do both AND watch what you eat.

Good luck, I understand how you feel. I am doing both, the scale is staying the same, but the jeans are a little looser. Read the recommendations below. Also, go to the book store and locate the book "Weight Training for Dummies". In chapter 15 you will find excellent information on how to perform abdominal exercises correctly. Page 218 of the book dispels all the myths surrounding abdominal training.

*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity. Get a fitness calculator that you can put on your cell phone and computer. This will allow you to easily calculate this formula, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as white potatoes) and drink lots of water.

*3) Exercise on most days by doing cardiovascular training and/or resistance training activities.

*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.
