can anyone give me some reasons why cardio exercises is bad for you?

Question:
thanks

Answers:
No. Because it isn't bad for you, it is good for you. Doctors recommend you do at least 18 minutes of excercise with your heart in the 65% to 80% range at a time at least 3 times a week.

Okay, so reason why it might be bad for "you" as an individual. Let's say "you" have a weak heart and have been confined to strict bedrest - in that case "you" shouldn't be doing cardio. Or if "you" have bad knees, then jogging will not be doing them any favors (try the eliptical machine instead for a near 0-impact).

Personally to save on gas I've been bicycling to work and back. That works out to 40 minutes of cardio in the morning (mostly uphill) and 20 minutes at night (mostly downhill). I'm saving money on gas and losing fat. So it must be good for me.

Well if you have an aortic hernia, any kind of cardio would be potentially deadly!
if you are talking about jogging or high impact it is bad for your knees, however allimpact is good for your heart as long as it is in moderation
cardio is good for you as long as your not really overweight and you don't have any health problems... you need to go talk to your doc if you are concerned... or talk to a personal trainer or something.
You burn muscle as much as fat when you do cardio.

You body quickly adapts to cardio and can hold on to fat. Ever see an aerobics instructors with excess body fat but can do aerobics all day.

Resistance training is far superior to speed up ones metabolism.
