The following healthy living recommendations will help you if your trying to lose weight, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*1) Burn more calories then your consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity. exercising doesnt do u any good if ur not eating right and drinking lots of water. get ur eating habits under control then look into excerises that will target that area.

Losing weight isn't something that can be achieved in a small fraction of time . It not only takes time , but also perseverance .

Eat the right foods, avoid all the white carbs ( bread , rice , pasta ..) , drink water instead of soda and other drinks with high fructose syrup, reduce your sugar intake, you can still eat the same stuff you like, but in very limited amount, control yourself. No snacks in between, and if you must indulge in something let it be vegetables.

Exersice for.at the least 60 minutes a day. You can't measure every day.. cause then you're not going to notice the difference . ( it's kinda like the thing about growing..the poeple you see every day don't notice your growth , but the ones you see after a long time, do notice) . Measure every two - three weeks or so .

foxie006 is right, you need to watch what you eat as well. Another good trick I learnt is do enough cardio for 30 mins or less depending on your body and work out type and after that work on your problem area. Indeed, stop eating crap, or eating too much crap.

What I do on occasion is turn on one of the exercise shows in the mornings, a real easy one to start with. They have the exercise shows on about 4 channels every morning if you have cable and throughout the day. You have to exercise to the point that your heart beats faster and get it like that for a while, that is when you are really exercising. It should be done on a daily basis if it is easy and probably every other day for a real killer. I have a problem with committing myself to keep up with it but I have seen get results.

its not just the excercising you have to watch yr dietary intake.
