Do people actually exercise and watch what they eat?

Question:
I usually eat what I want and never exercise and yet get pissed when I put on weight.

How much do you exercise and is it a lifelong commitment.

Answers:
Well, my regular form of excercise is several days of one hour walks or longer. Usually on the weekends i walk at least five hours. I eat what i want most of the time and eat healthy a couple of times a week. Balance is important and consistency. I'm 31 look very young for my age, never gain or lose weight and feel pretty good most of the time. These are lifelong practices, and i plan on increasing my level of excercise cause age does take it's toll.

Other Answers:
yes, yes, and yes.
I watch what I eat, and I exercise 3-5 days a week depending on what else I have going on.

Being and staying healthy is hard, and it is definatly a lifelong commitment.
yes I run half a mile(@least) a day and don't eat junk, and its a lifelong comitment cuz I don't wanna get fat...
Yes, people DO exercise and watch what they eat. Diet is a matter of staying alive for me. Exercise helps and sort of offers focus. And it is life long commitment because when I stop, I really stop! :))
I watch what I eat and cook healthy most of the time. I have kids so it is important to me that they learn healthy eating habits and I walk 2 miles a day and plus chasing the kids and i have twins that are three so they are a workout in themselves. I can tell you that I also take super b complex everyday it boots your metabolism and energy and walking makes me feel great.
Absolutley! I watch everything I eat and excercise daily. Somtimes, when time allows, I will work out twice a day! The results are worth it!
I go through stages ... I eat healthy by forcing myself to b vegetarian, but I dont work out as much as I should ... right now im in my healthy phase and I just got back from a run, but I dont think it'll last long.

there is a trick on how to eat a LOT and not work out and still lose weight... try "negative calorie foods" which are foods that actually contain less calories in them than it would take to burn those calories... so no matter how much of them u eat, u would just b burning more and more!

but generally, im like u in eating .. i just eat wat I want and dont always work out .. meh o well! it doesnt matter, we're all gonna die soon in world war 3!
I try to get about 2 hours of exercise a week. I do watch what I eat, but I still allow myself snacks and treats.

If you chose to pursue a healthier lifestyle, it is a lifelong commitment, so it is best not to go to extremes, ie don't start working out 5 days a week and cutting out all snacks/treats if you don't think you will be able to stick with this in the long run. You need to be able to stay motivated, so only do what you feel comfortable with and work from there. Good luck : )
I do.

There are just a few lifestyle changes to make and it's not that hard. Do at least 20-30 minutes of moderate/vigorous exercise 5 days a week and stick to mostly whole foods.
