What else can I eat?


Question:
I had what the Special K box recommended- 1 Serving of Special K(1 cup), a 4oz. glass of milk, and a piece of fruit(All I had was grapes, so I had 11 grapes) But I am still hungry, and my stomach is growling. I would like to lose some weight,too. What can I have?

nibble on some cheese, then crackers if necessary...drink plenty of water but eat slowly it takes at least 20 minutes from ingestion to signal the stomach is full...just concentrate on lo-cal, lo-fat stuff if you feel hungry and you might want to consider taking a walk...even if its to the mailbox and back something about excersize is a natural hunger reducer

Don't eat anything else if you're trying to lose weight. After a couple of days your stomach will shrink down and you will begin to feel full by eating small amounts.

Just try to stick it out, it's only a couple days.

In all honesty, that Special K diet doesn't work and it's not very good for you. It's better to just eat a balanced diet. It's better to eat Special K for a snack instead of something like a cookie. If you want to lose weight, vegetarian always works.
Try Fruit or some Veg. Alos if you are jus looking for a simple snack try the 95% Fat free Popcorn it is good and also low points (WW). Or chew gum - that always helps 2!

Try weight watchers, they have soup that have no calories that really fills you up. Plus you can eat so much more.

If not water, drink lots that will fill you up
well i can tell you that my friend eats the regular things you would find in your little brother's lunchbox, but she just eats less of it. you could try that!
What you had was mostly carbohydrates. They are geared to set you up to want more food.
Focus on protein and vegetables - mostly greens (the darker the better - spinach, kale, etc).
You'll do best that way. Protein takes longer to digest and greens give you the fiber you need to help the digestion, plus LOTS of nutrients.
Here's a trick to help you lose weight: Take a tablespoonful of olive oil 3 times a day, preferably before meals. Olive oil is high in monounsaturated fat, which raises your "good" cholesterol and lowers your "bad" cholesterol. Better yet, olive oil helps suppress your appetite so you don't overeat. For now, if you're still hungry, eat a small handful of nuts. Any kind of nuts will do, but almonds are the best. Good luck!

Special K diet says that you can have some coffee or tea with that too. Then if you're still hungry you can always have raw veggies on a diet they are considered a " Free" food and they fill you up with the fiber in them. Good luck with your goals!
water and oatmeal,
limit portions and exercise in the morning. this will get your metabolism working faster throughout the whole day. you can have for breakfast whole grain bagels and toast. you can have oatmeal instead of cereal all of the time. oatmeal is low in fat/calories and high in fibre. exercising in my opinion is the best way to loose weight because you also look and feel good.
Just remember that whole grains fill you up more than crap foods do. But it sounds like you're eating healthy. Unless you are waaaay overweight, you probably just need more exercise and then you can just eat like that (but eat more) and still lose weight. Fruit, vegetables, skim milk, whole grains - it's really hard to get fat by eating too much of these things. Stop counting grapes! Life is too short!
you could drink a full 8oz. glass of water before you eat. you could try when you get hungry you can eat vegables. i have been on my diet for a year and i have lose 116lbs. this is what i did i would drink as much water as i can before every meal and when i got hungry i would eat carrots and things like that but try to stay away from food with lots of sugar. yogurt is good to. i eat alot of fresh fruits. that's all i can tell you. good luck
Please don't try and do the Special K diet and eat 2 bowls of cereal a day.. there is no way your gonna stick to it and you will just get hungry and frustrated with yourself.. chose foods off the food pyramid.. weight loss is common sense.. eat healthy foods in moderate amounts.. 2 carbs meaning a cup of cereal or 2 pieces of toast.. a fruit.. a dairy and a protein like an egg.. for lunch the same thing but have some veggies... dinner is basically the same.. the more variety the more satisfied you are going to be! Yes water would be good... also go take a quick walk around the block... a bit of fresh air and exercise will help get your mind off of eating and the activity will be better than sitting in front of the computer.
