What do you think is the leading cause of obesity among children in today's world?
Question:
Answers:
Same as adults. Too much of the wrong foods and too little exercise
Other Answers:
fast food, lazy parents, and good marketers.
Too much food and not enough excercise. video games. kids don't play like we did as kids (I'm a 30 something)
Fast food, inactivity (USA, not world).
fat parents feeding them hotdogs, mac and cheese, icecream, and whatever else they want because it's easy
To much junk food Too much food and the fact that things are too easy.
My grandfather hit the nail on the head when remotes came out for TV's.it was the end of the skinny world when you didn't even have to get up to change the channel.
fast food, junk food, lazy parents shoving convience foods at them instead of cutting up some veggies, and fruit. and a lack of exercise. sitting in front of the tv and video games, shoving doritos and oreos in their faces, washing it down with some dr pepper, makes fat kids! too much sugar, fat and not enough exercise.
The children's parents doing the following:
1. Giving children juice like it's water. There is a lot of sugar in juice.
2. Parents keeping their children inside in front of the tv.
3. Parents having horrible eating habits, and feeding their children the same sort of high fat, fried food diet that they eat.
Fat Parents = Fat Kids. There should be a no mating law between fatso's.
PS - your name is "annal" lol
Bad parents letting them eat whatever they want. not a balance diet .go, grow, glow foods
too much junk food,
lack of exercise,
too much time in front of a computer
High fructose Corn Syrup. Limiting chilren 2 one or 2 and taking too much care of them.
Their parents.
junk food, fast food, lack of exercise
Complacency among the adults who are responsible for these children. flat up laziness.
as a kid I rode a bike, built tree forts in the woods, would walk the neighborhood w/ buddies at night, play tag football over 5 yards.
I watched my half brothers 20 yrs behind me do none of the above but sit inside every day eating potato chips and playing video game after video game. And today they are both easily 8 years behind where I was in basic every day smarts and knowledge.
No wonder kids of today have no brain or what not.they were raised not too. They were raised to stare and be fed info, nothing more.
I think its 4 things mainly
1) junk food
2)fast food
3) being lazy sitting around watching tv or playing games
4)treated milk
We drink our milk boiled with water it tastes healthier and there are results, truly treated milk is a dangerous thing. as well as milk in general. Think about it mother cows give their abaies their milk so they get fatter and grow. correct? we feed our children cow milk so what can we expect especially if the milk is treated.
Everybody on the run and just "making do" with convenience foods. They say it is soft drinks since you gain all this weight from it without eating any food. But here are other factors-- see last fat loss tip.
http://phifoundation.org Not enough exercise. Simple as that. 20 odd years ago when I was 5 or 6, and up until I was ten or eleven in 1990/91, we were always outside running around. Nowadays kids just sit in front of the tv or computer. It's not their fault, of course. Lazy parents, higher cost of living meaning that there is less supervision because parents have to work more, aggressive marketing of TV and video games, more paranoia about the dangers they might encounter if they dared to venture outside (read: hysterical media) etc. I could go on all day. I don't think diet has a great deal to do with it. I grew up on fast food and junk, but always took a lot of exercise so it just got burned up.
