how can i make those rooster arms go away?

Question:

Answers:
The triceps muscle is opposite the biceps muscle, on the same side of your arm as the elbow. It's job is to straighten that elbow.

It's a lazy muscle, doubly so on women, and difficult to wake up. But you CAN wake it up.

The most effective exercise for the triceps muscle are dips. They also work the inner chest. You've no doubt seen dips done, but there is really just one perfect way.

Use bars or handles only slightly wider than your own body. The key to "dipping" correctly is keeping your elbows in. Literally, feel your upper arms and elbows hug your rib cage through the exercise. Lower yourself until your elbow is at 90 degrees, then slow lift back to the upright position.

At first, you may have difficulty doing the lift. Concentrate on the negative - lowering yourself while you control your descent. Do that enough times and you'll be strong enough to complete the lift too!

Good luck!

Lift weights!
Work your triceps (the muscles on the back of your arms) by chest presses (I think that's what they are called). Lay on your back, have your arms bent at a 90 degree angle with weights in each hand. Extend your arms straight ahead of you then return them to out to the side with your elbows bent. Does that make sense? Any exercise that you reach your arms out and draw them back and arm circles out to your side (like on Jane Fonda work out videos) work too. Good luck!
Oh that extra "wave" when your waving at someone. I hate those too! Yes the only way that's going to help get rid of those is to workout. Now you can't only workout the back of your arms which are called triceps. You have to work your biceps, the opposite side of your triceps. Be sure to use light weights and high reps. If you can't go to the gym then you can use and do things at home. If you can go to the gym then do 3-4 kinds of exercises for the same body part.

Good luck!
You are referring to your triceps. In my opinion, the best exercise for the exercise would be overhead dumbbell extensions. use high reps.
