Answers:
The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:
*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). A website that explains this formula in more detail and will help you determine how many calories you need to reach or maintain a certain weight is at http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/library/weight/calsburned.htm
Get an online, desktop, or cell phone diet and fitness calculator. This will allow you to easily calculate the above formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.
Set realistic goals for your ideal body weight. Here are two websites that will calculate a suggested body weight:
Adults: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm
Teens/Children: http://www.kidshealth.org/kid/exercise/weight/bmi.html
It is difficult and unhealthy to lose more than one or two pounds per week. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you eat 500 fewer calories per day for a week you will lose one pound. If you burn through exercise 500 more calories per day for a week you will lose one pound.
Here are two articles on how to break through a weight loss plateau:

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.
Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:

*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.
*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com
Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier.

fat and lazy is no way to go thru life
if you are happy then that all that matters.
Yes, it could be very harmfull... You could end up with medical problems because of it.... you need to eat healthier and get up and get moving!
Not only is such a rapid weight gain unsafe, but you are putting yourself at risk of many diseases and obesity when you get older. Why would you want to be obese at 17 years old? Do you not like girls or something because that's a surefire way to get them to not notice you.
It's good to be happy and to gain some weight. However, it is a totally different thing to become obese and unhealthy.
Your 17 years old...don't waste it. Find hobbies that are exercise but also fun, like sports. That way you'll be able to continue to eat but you'll be having fun and enjoying the great outdoors while not becoming obese and unhealthy.
at the moment it wont take any toll on yr health but you keep going the way you are you will defiantly in the future have alot of health issues. diabetes, cholesterol levels will be high which can cause early heart failure, and much more. this article has some great weight loss programs including one for the lazy dieter. hope you do decide to improve yr health
Your putting yourself at risk for type 2 diabetes and heart problems as well. The more fat closer to your heart the higher the risk of heart-related diseases.
Why would you go out of your way to be fat.... just eat normally and you should be fine. In a few years when you get over this stage you might find it hard to lose the weight and be stuck with stretch marks.
lil unhealthy?? You really need to talk to your Dr. ASAP!!! Being fat and not exercising is not just a little unhealthy, it's really bad for you! Over weighted people have more chances of contracting certain diseases and suffering strokes, than an average healthy person. That's definitely not the way to go through life. You are young... get your body back in shape before it's too late!!!
I'm sure your father has told you that you will pay for this down the road. Need to start those health habbits now. It is like when I was at work and the old men would tell you not jump down off of dock plates and other machines or other things you do not mind doing when young. These things show up and hurt you down the road in aches and pains along with other dieses. The longer you keep on the worse it will be. The eating is like a habit that just seems fun. When you get use to doing healthy things with friends like sports even fishing and such you will find this even more enjoyable.
Good for you Im thirteen and weigh 242 and 5'11 me and you r almost the same so keep gaining and dont let any one stop you e-mailme if you want i want to hear about how much uv gained
