You're on a good start. I wouldn't do crunches every day though - the abdominals need a chance to recover like every other muscle. Work them out once every 2-3 days.
The big ingredient is diet. From the sounds of it your metabolism isn't that fast, so you've got to watch your food intake. Make sure you're eating healthy and you're well on your way.

You are yet to even hit puberty at age 14, so why you would work out with the intent of defining your muscles is beyond me. Of course, my opinion would be different if you were trying to overcome obesity.
