Question:

Answers:
My gosh this is vague.I suggest 3 sets of ten reps in the absence of any other info.

Other Answers:
If you are trying to build muscle, you should do less reps and more weights. About 3 sets of 10 reps with 65 weights/arms/beginner.
If you are trying to tone but only want to gain strength, you should do more reps and less weights. About 3 sets of 15 reps and start at 40 weights/arms/beginners. I am a avid runner, so i strength train. I have gotten toned and my legs are strong without all the bulk.
The same goes for legs. As your legs get stronger over a 4 week period add more weights.
