As much as your muscles can handle, You can only lift as much as your body can handle, if you want to lift more, try harder. (But most Boys bench press maybe 100-120?)

Starting off light is the best way to go because u can always build up, ur muscles wont take too much of a shock that way.

Warm ups r most imortant before any weight training and can lower ur chances of tearing a ligament. Start off with about 10LBS single arm weights to get ur blood flowing. 2 sets of 15 repetitions. Once ur body is up and warm go ahead for a set of weights that u feel u can handle. DO NOT over do urself.
Drop down 5lbs if u feel urself straining too much. Always start light because u can always build up. Always keep that it mind.
