all cardio is best done on a empty stomach and first thing when you wake up , usually in the morning , the reason is that when you wake up in the morning your fat cells are starved there weak, so you go and do your jog, and it breaks them down easier, where as if you were to eat you would be fueling them, giving them stregnth to stick out the jog, lol

What I do before going to jog in the morning is take a glass of water [dont drink a lot because then your stomach will hurt] and after we come from jogging go ahead and eat something light of calories and carbohydrates because then there is no point for running.

Its best to eat right after you jog/workout. you build muscle this way. the only downside to jogging in the morning is that you have to take a shower before you can do anything or else you will be stinky all day!

there is NO better time to jog, though i must say, jogging before work makes the day flow a lot better in my opinion.
running at night is also a good thing, i sleep better... but there's no better time to jog in terms of how your body reacts to the activity.
I jog first thing 5 am...I don't eat any food before I go...8oz glass of water and that's it....When I come back from my jog I eat 2 eggs, 2 sausage, and 1 slice of toast. Some days, I will have blueberry pancakes. YUM!

Whilst at Parris Island SC, our group would get dressed, eat chow, then run. If it good enough for the USMC, well then its good enough for me. Just don't drink milk. When you go on long runs the stomach acts like a churn. It's not pretty
there really no right or wrong time based on calorie burn etc. However, I believe the morning wkt to be most practical. If you don't eat b4, all the calories you burn will come from bodyfat since there is nothing in your stomach from the night before. Moreover, you don't want to eat within 90 minutes of working out as a general rule.
working out in the morning is also more practical, since you only have to shower once for the day, not twice.

Jogging in the morning is good for you but you can also eat in the morning before you jog but wait at least 45 min til you go jogging and also I would prefer you jog about 1 or 2 miles at the least!!!
