There's no real scientific answer to this, but there are a lot of water nazi's who will tell you to drink half your body weight in ounces (200lb = 100 ounces of water), then add some amount for each segment of exercise. There is no scientific basis for any of this, but in general more water is better than less water. If you flavor it with something it still counts as water, per the scientists who actually have studied this.
If you're thirsty or showing any signs of dehydration or over-heating, then you need to drink more.
Other than that don't worry about drinking a set amount - it really isn't medically important.
Hate to tell you honey, fat is water soluble. Drink minimum 1 gallon (4.5 litres) per day. Also fills you up so you won't overeat.
