I really want to lose inches, and I've been thinking of doing pilates, but I want thinner and slimmer, not more muscular.
Answers:
pilates is very good from losing inches and looking slimmer it will give you muscle but not bulky, bulging muscles just lean muscle where you not jiggling everywhere you have muscle to keep it tight.

it also makes you look better bcz it improves your posture.
BTW, you wont get bulky muscles even if you do other exercises.Not unless if you take those muscle building drinks or supplements in addition to doing weights.
Normal exercises and stretching help tone and strengthen, not make you bulky.
So, don't worry.
Yoga helps too. It's good in reducing stress as well :)
