yes these are good healthy exercises as are any exercises that increase heart rate and breathing. swimming, jogging, biking, even fast walking helps.
At least 20 min. 30 min better
Over the age of 40 you might consider speaking to a doctor

Running helps you loose the most weight. If you jump rope and do jumping jacks you're working more of the muscles of the leg and the abs. You'd have to do them every day then take a day off

Jumping rope is one of the best ways to burn calories! Cardio burns fat faster than any other workout. How much you'll lose depends on your weight and calorie intake, but you will lose! Sure it can. Doing just about anything that keeps your heart rate up for at least 20 minutes can. i personally think jumping rope would be better then the jumping jacks. If you have a safe place to walk that would work really well. walking a mile a day would do wonders for a person!!

yes it burns fat and builds up ur heart rate. i dont think u will lose weght fast but it will difinitely shed a few pounds.

Of course they can. any physical activity can help. Jumping rope burns a lot of calories!

Yes but their are much better ways. If you want to know email me. I'll get back to you. Also, pay more attention to the way you look, not how much you weigh. That means more than just cardio If you're stuck indoors than certainly jump rope or other cardio excercises can work. But who wants to stare at the wall all day. You'd have to jump rope for at least 20 minutes 2 or 3 times a day
to make a significant difference. And dpending on how overweight you are it may be difficult for you to jump and swing a skipping rope around for long perions. Unless your only looking to shed a few pounds and build up your cardio. Walk one Hour a day for a month 2 hours on the weekend then increase to 2 hours a day 3 on the weekend and so on as the months change. You'll see the difference in no time. In a year you'll be running miles

if you're not fit, YES! It's a great cardio work out to get your heart rate up and if you vary the way you move, crossing your legs, longer, higher jumps, two steps, etc. you can actually build muscle. Try doing as many for 3 minutes, jog in place, and then another round for 3 minutes. Once every two days will do the trick, this plus cutting one thing (potato chips, the afternoon soda, or cheese fries, etc.) out of your diet will make a huge difference
