How many sweets are you really supposed to consume each day?

Question:

Answers:
When you say sweets I assume you are talking about refine sugars. In this case, occasional sweets are acceptable if your overall nutrition is balanced. Otherwise, don’t worry about sugar in fruits and make sure to incorporate them in your nutrition.

If you regularly exercise with weights, your carbohydrate requirements might be higher and it is important to follow proper post exercise nutrition. In this window, post exercise, you can usually get away with higher then usual sugar consumption, but I don’t recommend it. You will be much better off with a quality drink specifically designed to help your muscles recover faster.

Other Answers:
3 teaspoons of sugar is all you need a day.

There is no "minimum daily requirement" for sweets.in other words, there's no amount that you're "supposed" to consume each day (in fact, "none" is a perfectly fine amount, as sweets are not an essential part of a nutritional approach to eating). However, if you're really wondering what the maximum you should have per day, I'd say it would depend on what kind of sweet you're talking about.what the ingredients are, whether it contains transfat, what it's sweetened with, etc.

Bottom line, I think my favorite saying sums up a good rule of thumb about things like this: "All things in moderation -- including moderation!"

NONE. starve, biitch.
