How long will it take to start enjoying exercise?


Question:
I recently started excercising 3-5 times a week and I HATE it. I make myself go because I've always heard after a while you start to love it. I want to enjoy excercising but I'm wondering how long it's going to take before that happens. I go back and forth between cardio and muscle conditioning each day. Thanks for any feedback! Peace!

You will begin to love it when you look in the mirror and see noticable results! Ignore the scale, take pictures of yourself once a week and compare them, I guarentee you that 2-3 months from now you will be enthused about going to the gym. Stick it out for now, the rewards are in your near future!

I'd try and find an activity you actually like now rather than expecting plain old exercise to get more enjoyable. Try rollerblading or mountain biking or something that is genuinely fun to you instead of waiting around and dreading your next workout.
If you hate what you are doing do try something different until you find something you enjoy. If you hate it you wont stick with it. Try a variety and think of it as playing not exercise. We played as kids and loved life
