Weight loss Help!!?


Question:
I am 22 years old I weigh almost 200 pounds.
I haven't even had any kids yet . But before I have kids I would like to get my weight under control.
I don't really like to excercise a whole lot.
I have really BIG problem I EAT WHEN I am bored
What can I do to loose weight and keep it off what kind of food should I eat? and how often do I Eat?
I am going grocery shopping in a few days would like to know what to buy? I am home alone a lot of the time!!
PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN !!!!!

Answers:
start by eating only fruits and vegetables (sorry... no dip allowed !) when bored.

Later on, maybe think about finding out why eating is related to being bored...

And sorry, but you'll have to try to exercise at least a few minutes a day ! Take a walk, bike, buy an elliptic machine, swim : find an activity a day you enjoy !

Do you cook for yourself? What I do is look through my low-fat cookbook...pick several recipes to make that week...buy those ingredients and make healthily meals....Its not as fun as eating out or eating junk food, but it might help...also avoid buying "snack" food with the intentions that you'll monitor yourself...b/c you know your willpower is not that strong...but alternative that might help...fat-free flavored yogurts have helped me!
Avoid buying food with lots of carbs, sodium and sugar. Become a label reader. Try to buy fresh instead of canned. If you can't buy fresh buy frozen. Buy chicken, turkey and very lean cuts of red meat. Broil or bake your food avoid frying whenever you can. Eat lots a fruits a veggies and drink lots of water and diet green tea. When you are bored eat a celery stick or a few carrots. Try to exercise. Take a little walk around your neighborhood.
one i can try to help you with the eatin cuz u bored is go out and play until like late or just go outside and walk so that the next time you come back into your house it will be the right time for you to eat.and try eating like grain bars like fruit cereal with fruit in it and buy like orange juice and if you find it to hard to stay outside for a long time then you can still eat but eat like those fruit and the cereal with the fruit in it and like granola bars. every once in a while you are able to eat junk but you will be so into the fruit you wont want to ~GOOD LUCK~
try weight watchers it's really cheap and a very good weight loss program. You can still eat whatever you want but just in healthy portions and they teach you what to snack on when you're hungry in between meals. i pay $12/week which i believe is cheaper than most programs out there and i can still eat my homecooked meals and go out to eat too. i have lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks and one of my sorority sisters los 60 pounds in 5 months .. it's amazing you should give it a try
i agree with the one answer TRY WEIGHT WATCHERS it really works i joined on 6-15-06 and have lost 21.6 lbs already you don't have to eat a lot of diet foods you have so many points per day to use mine is 30 i weighed 286.6 lbs at the beginning which is how they set daily points its only 11 dollars a week her where i live in Kentucky if i want to go to McDonald's and get a big mac and fries i do so it takes 17 points away but i still have 13 for the rest of the day i eat a lot of smart ones dinners made by weight watchers and lean cuisines plus the light lays potato chips and the 100 calorie packs if i can do it anyone can i still have a long way to go because i hope to loose 100 lbs i will rephrase that i will loose 100 lbs by the time i get through i can do it and i know i will they stress that it is very important to drink lots of water i hope i haven't went on too much but i tried to explain it a little bit GOOD LUCK IN WHAT EVER YOU TRY AND I WILL BE THINKING ABOUT YOU -----GOD BE WITH YOU -----
