Is death hereditary?

Question:

Answers:
How long your body lives is mostly lifestyle. Now let me ask you a question. Animals die but they do not wonder about it. So why do you wonder about it. It is because the animal is his body but you are not your body.

That is why you wonder about it. See site below to learn more about yourself and why death is not something that you need to fear, but have respect for. Contains some info from top psychologists in country.

It is Certain.

Yes
It runs in your family.
Just like everyone elses.

Well. . . . . we are all gonna die someday . Cause of death and how long you live is certainly influenced by heredity. It is also heavily influenced by lifestyle. No..but it is inevitable

I was originally going to say, "No, but the CAUSE of death is" (like heart attacks can run in your family, or cancer, for example) but then I gave it a little more thought and the answer actually is, "YES" death is hereditary. We inherited it from Adam & Eve when they ate the forbidden fruit and were cast out of the Garden of Eden. If you read God's words to them, we inherited death for their sin. So, the answer is a big YES.

yes, everybody has it so you have nothing to fear, we all have that in common

yep if anyone in your family has ever died, it's almost certain you will come down with it too actually it's a disease that all living things have. unfortunatly there is no cure. scientists are baffled.

Death is a process inherent in all living things. It is normal and natural and all are subject to it. It is not hereditary, although longevity can be.

Death is an inevitable part of life. "To be born is to begin to die." Certain CAUSES of death, of course, can be considered hereditary.

Death happens.to everyone, regardless of gender, race or age. It just happens, no one is exempted. Much like the question: Is life sexually transmited. However this question would entangle into a divine source, and that would be to ask when Greek gods such as Permisius ruled the world and heavens, if they passed down immortality. The story of Hercules is that he became human and thus died. His death was not hereditary and from this we can see he would have only been immortal if nothing earthy had tainted him. Seeing as how we are all earthly beings, death is not hereditary but rather inevitable.

Absolutely -- death is hereditary. A person only dies if their parents or ancestors have died. People who's ancestors have not died also do not die.
