i have another question about strength training?
Question:

My suggestion is to do one set at your normal starting point (the most weight you can do at about 10 reps). Then go up in weight to failure (maybe 5 reps). And because you're really just looking to get toned, drop weight down below your starting point and do a burnout. This means you do maybe 15 or more reps on lower weight until your arms burn and you cant do anymore. This is the philosophy people use to do Abs, because obviously people can do more than just 10 situps and it tones their stomach. This applies for the rest of the body too.

Well basically to tone muscle you should be lifting 60-70% of your maximum weight you can lift, in reps. Here is a link that will help about Plyometric Training that is basically strength training. http://www.pponline.co.uk/encyc/0980.htm
