Can you get sick from eating day old pizza That's never been refrigerated?

Question:

Answers:
There is certainly the potential for the cheese, meat, or sauce to grow all manner of bacteria in the overnight period. It's never a good idea to eat any food that hasn't been properly stored, but I've certainly done it several times with no ill effects that I can detect.

So it's certainly not as bad as eating the salmon mousse that's been left on the counter overnight, but probably has a higher risk of illness than say, eating a dry cookie that's been out the same length of time.

Other Answers:
Of course not...almost everybody does it. I prefer to refrigerate it though, it just feels cleaner.
some people do and some people don't. it's about what your body can handle and what it can't. though, i wouldn't suggest eating it, but you can bake it or nuke it until it's hot and that will kill some of the bacteria. good luck
i've done it with no ill effects...
Before you eat it you should get it hot and no problems you will have with eating it.
No . IF it has meats on it or it is really hot in the house I wouldn't do it though.
Technically yeah if you got some dirty drawers sittin on the pizza all night there might be enough bacteria built up to get ya sick. Or if you accidently spilled a beer on the pizza and let it sit all night there probably would be enough bactieria built up. Or maybe if you left the chicken you were defrosting out next to the box and the chicken juices got on the box then probably. But you know I don't leave my direty cloths on my food, I never ever spill beer, and if I ordered pizza I would have put the chicken up. So eat away my friend I'm sure its nothing that wouldn't pass in a day or two beers.
There's a chance. Anytime you leave food out at room temperature, it can grow bacteria that can make you sick. That's the whole reason behind food poisoning- bacteria gets into your digestive tract that normally wouldn't be there, and, well, you know what that feels like!
I'd be puking my guts out, but others would be OK. It depends on your constitution.
yes---there is cheese on it and cheese will go bad
Yeah, everybody does it but it isn't necessarily a good idea. It is not recommended to eat food that been left out more than two hours or more than one hour in 80 degree plus heat. Even though you may not see any pathogens like you would with moldy cheese or bread, they're still there. In particular , when food has been heated and cooled off, the chances for bacteria growth are high. That's why so many people get food poisoning at buffets and such when the heat lamps are not kept warm enough.
