what is the best way to lose weight in the waste area??

Question:
i would really like to know because my stomach is flat when i'm standing up but when i sit down, it's a different story!! lol

Answers:
Sit ups and crunches do absolutely nothing to remove fat from a specific area.I'll once again dispute spot reduction because it doesn't exist.
Abdominal work could actually have a negative impact on your present condition due to hypertrophy.Try doing a series of motions bending forward til about 90 degree angle and back up.Do a number of repetitions in a few sets every day. This will help tone up your lumbar region and cause you to be more upright when sitting.
Be conscious of keeping your shoulders back and arching your back while sitting. This should help correct your posture which is probably to blame

Other Answers:
sit ups

do 500 a day

well, you can't lose fat when doing sit ups. sit ups tone your muscles. you need to do cardio (running, jump rope, biking) to lose the fat. If you do some cardio with some sit ups, then you'll have good abs.
Well you will always have a lil stomach when you sit down because the skin isnt stretched anymore. But if you are trying to tone your stomach then crunches help, and swimming is a GREAT ab work out. Also drink a glass of milk a day. It helps loose weight in the stomach area. And stay away from white break bagles, that is the most fattening food you can ever eat, stick with whole wheat products only.
