You could always get an exercise machine, such as an ab lounge or a stepmaster. If you would like a more fun alternative, you could buy DDR.
Try some exercises on this site to help you
you need to combine diet with exercise, I walk, bicycle and x-country ski, depending on the season.
turn on yur fav music and start to dance. if u have fun/try hard, it will work. i lost abot 10 pounds doing it.
Buy yourself a skipping rope and skip on the spot.
Easy, you don't have to leave home and it's more effective than walking/running. 3-5 minutes of skipping is recommended for a warm up, then do yourself some stretches, then get really into it. Change the style of skipping, so you can hop twice on each foot, then change feet, try doing double skips (jump high than you normally would & turn the rope really fast so in that one jump the rope passes twice), criss-crosses etc.
You can do it in front of the TV or when your bored.
Make sure you keep walking/running/swimming/bike riding and pushups/sit ups as you work on your whole body & gives your body something different to do everytime.
Well first of all like to say hi to another CORNHUSKER fan! As far as your ? For weight loss you need to use a variety of exercises probably three times a week that you enjoy. Try to go for 30-60 min. The other one or two sessions a week use interval training. These are when you go for 30-60 sec. hard and go easy for 1-2 min. For a total of 20 min. You also need to use resistance training to increase your muscle mass which will help you burn more fat. Try to use free weight lifts that use the most muscle mass (i.e., squats, step-ups, bench press, etc). And finally, make sure you're eating a healthy variety of food. Your carbs should be of the high-fiber type which will have a low GI number. Consume about .8 to 1 grams of protein per pound of body weight. Your fat consumption should be of the healthy kinds too.
For long term fat loss, the exercise program should consist of a combination of weight training and aerobic exercises. More details available at http://www.toloseweight.org/exercisetolo.
