Quick tip to speed up my metabolism!?

Question:
Sitting in front of my PC all day in work, although I'm eating fairly reasonable food, ie fruit. I go for a long walk on my lunch hour (about a mile) and swim regulary, I need a burn calorie, sped up metabolism tip. I visited my doctor to see if he would prescribe drugs to help but he wants to wait on blood test results. Can anyone name any pills I can get online? Safe and legal?

Thanks

Trim 24/7 Extreme. They're a herbal slimming supplement which will suppress your appetite and boost your metabolism. They work for me.
In the UK, you can but 'fat burners' which are supposed to speed up your metabolism. They're available almost anywhere - even argos sell them.
They are usually stocked along with protein shake powder etc for bodybuilders.
I don't know how effective they actually are though.
Hope this helps.
red bull all the way or the cheaper red rooster which is higher in caffine and tourine
Don't take tablets they just confuse your bodies ability to take care of itself , given that you have as healthy a lifestyle as your job allows the only other thing you can do is have less sleep giving your body longer to burn of calories .
FFS - Why is that women think there is a miracle PILL that will cure everything...,"Where can I get water retention pills and/or breast enlargement pills?" are the two most commonly asked on here.

It sounds as if you are doing pretty much everything you can do to keep fit/lose or maintain current weigh as you eat well and exercise regular.
If you are still overweight then I suggest you don't eat as much, maybe cut down by 25-50% on your daily food intake (and keep it at that level) then see what happens. If nothing happens after 3 months (ie good diet, [but with reduced servings] + plenty of exercise) then you have found your idea body mass/weight and will have to deal with it.
Eat Protein for breakfast - do NOT skip breakfast or other meals
Build muscle strength! This is key - even 20 minutes a day. Both of these can help speed the metabolism much more than any supplement or medication (or at least keep it from slowing down by not eating - and entering starvation mode/metabolic slow speed)
Are you trying to get thyroid medication? Do you really need it?
True it does not always show up on the blood TSH test even when there is a legitimate condition. Your symptoms will show up. check out: http://www.greenwillowtree.com/-strse-Thyroid/Categories.bok

They have a symptom checklist and also sell a product called Thyodine which Ive seen a lot of people respond to (though it is not a weight loss product if thats what youre looking for, it helps with energy levels, basic thyoid function)
not a pill - but chillis!
they are great. use fresh or powdered in every meal.
stand more than you sit. you'll burn more cal.'s

...lemons, diet pills, ...
I think these just give you a bigger appetite. not a good idea. true that it may speed up metabolism, but you don't want to burn the food in your stomach fast if your weight is the problem.

eat less portions, but more frequently (don't eat to fill up, just enough)

I don't recommend pills, but its your choice.
