How many hours or minutes you should eat before exercising depends on each individual. I wait 30 to 50 minutes after eating before I exercise, but your body may not be able to wait 60 minutes. Listen to your body. If you feel sick after waiting 30 minutes, wait longer. If you feel like you don't have enough energy after waiting 60 minutes, exercise sooner.
As for after exercising, I've always heard that it's best to eat something 30 minutes to an hour after hydrating. However, just like eating before exercising, it probably depends on the person.

i would say 30 min before and it is good to eat right after workouts because your metabolism is still going fast and that will make you burn the calories of the food.
My gymnastic teacher used to say you should wait 2 hours before exercising (especially if you're doing sit-ups or crunches). And I would agree with that. If I wait less than two hours I feel sick.
I think it's ok to eat anytime after you exercise. I don't think there is a cirtain time you should wait, exercise is still exercise but I would wait a little while until you don't feel full anymore so you don't throw up or feel sick
