How many grams of carbs can you have per day on the Atkins diet?

Question:
Either a number or a calculation please.

Answers:
Atkins starts you off on a very low number like 10 during induction, and then during ongoing weight loss, you gradually add back in carbs until you reach a point where you stop losing weight. Then you back off a little on that thresh-hold number, and lose weight over the long term. Everyone has a different threshold, so you have to go through that procedure to find your own number. So, there's no exact calculation on Atkins.

Other Answers:
Preferably none

Dont do Atkins! Your body needs carbs or your brain rots! Atkins was made by a fat guy who died because he was fat and his diet killed him. If you want a real diet do the opposite of Atkins. No fat or low fat foods, and lots of carbs. My brother lost of 60 pounds in 4 months on that diet. You are suppose to start off with 20 carbs for the first two weeks of induction! Then to slow up weight loss you start adding like 5 each week after!!
